Does god play a role in politics?

Many people may feel that religion and politics do not or should not mix, but the reality of the situation is that they usually do become mixed: religion influences politics while politics in turn influences religion. If the two cannot be wholly disentangled, the question becomes just what sort of relationship they do have and how that relationship can be prevented from becoming dangerous. ultimately Does God play a role in politics?

It was only a five-min stop-over at the Bangalore cant. One entrance of the S2 coach was locked. Passengers were desperate to board the train. They quickly gestured at a man sitting in the first bay, next to the door - “please open”. The man hurried off, but the door does not seem to open.

India welcomed Independence from the British in 1947. The nation experienced a sense of patriotism and liberty from the British hegemony that prevailed over two centuries. There was no ruling of the foreigners anymore, and no limitations on freedom for indigenous expression of culture, language, traditions and practices. India was free at last!
