Vasim is an 8 year old boy who lives just a couple of Kilometers away from our house. His parents died of AIDS two years back, leaving Vasim and his elder sister and brother. Vasm had tested positive for HIV while his parents were alive. After the death of his parents all his relatives abandoned them except his Grandmother (mother’s mother). We met Vasim a couple of months back and started visiting him. He is such a sweet boy that he shares with us the dreams that he has, the dreams to have a normal life, education and family. But Vasim is having a strange sickness right now! Both of his legs are almost paralyzed and his joints are becoming hard swollen. He is totally bed ridden. He is not able to sit or stand. We have been taking him to many different hospitals in the City but in fact no one was able to diagnose the exact cause of his sickness. Finally we admitted him in a medical college here but they discharged him once again with out giving any proper medication. Meanwhile his infection is spreading very fast to his hands too. His grandma is too old and sick even to take him to the hospital and our team is helping him. We are desperately looking for a miracle in this boy’s life. We do not want to give up, we want to see him healed and every one will know that He is the healer.
